PAF CAE Registration Date

Registration dates for Pakistan Air Force Aeronautical Engineering courses are typically in February-March and October-November of each year. Here is the newly-announced date for CAE registration.

The registration deadline for the PAF CAE course is February 16, 2024. The date of the examination is printed on the registration papers of each candidate. The PAF Initial Exam for CAE will be administered via computer. PAF Verbal Intelligence Test, Non-Verbal Intelligence Test, and Academic Test multiple-choice questions

NOTE: Candidates over the age of 18 are required to have a smart I.D. card. Without smart cards, candidates will not be permitted to take the Test. The simple CNIC will no longer be permissible as of October 2020.

Eligibility Criteria Of PAF CAE Registration

The following are the eligibility criteria for the PAF CAE Course:

  • Gender: Male / Female
  • Nationality: Pakistani Citizens only
  • Marital status: Unmarried
  • Age: 22 Years
  • Height: Minimum age should be 163 cm (male) and  147 cm (Female)
  • Education: Matric 1st division and F.Sc minimum 65% marks in the following combination.
    • F.SC.. Pre-engineering as chemistry as a subject
    • A’ Level with subjects Chemistry, Physics, and Math

PAF CAE is a permanent commission position with a three-year training period at the College of Aeronautical Engineering for a Bachelor of Science in Engineering (NUST)

PAF College of Aeronautical Engineering Initial Test Pattern and Syllabus

The first Exam for the PAF CAE course is administered online at PAF Selection centers. The PAF Online CAE test is as follows.

  • Verbal Intelligence Test
  • Non-Verbal Intelligence Test
  • Academic Test

The CAE exam consists of three sections: a verbal intellect test, a non-verbal section, and an academic section.

Verbal Intelligence Test for PAF CAE Registration

The PAF Verbal Intelligence Test presents analogies verbally. A candidate must use his verbal reasoning skills to solve problems on this examination. Each question on the Verbal Intelligence Test has four answer choices. It is your responsibility to determine the best option.

Non-Verbal Intelligence Test

The purpose of the PAF nonverbal intelligence test is to evaluate nonverbal reasoning. Non-verbal intelligence assessments are also known as abstract reasoning or diagrammatic reasoning tests. The purpose of the PAF Nonverbal Intelligence Test is to evaluate a candidate’s capacity to comprehend and analyze visual information and to solve problems utilizing visual reasoning.

CAE Registration Procedure

To register online for CAE, go to joinpaf.gov.pk and select the Apply button. A section will appear for entering your National Identity Card number and submitting your registration. A form will appear for additional information Fill out the form completely and submit your request.

Documents Required for PAF CAE Registration

On the day of the test, the following items are required at the PAF Selection Centre.

  • Original certificate and detailed Matric//F.Sc or Equivalent Marks Sheet Must present the authentic Matric Mark Sheet.
  • Original Result Card is required for Matric, FSC, or equivalent.
  • Computerized National Identity Card (CNIC) for those older than 18 years. Candidates under the age of 18 must submit Form “B” along with the Computerized National Identity Card (CNIC) of their legal guardian (father or mother).
  • One set of attested photocopies of the documents listed above.
  • The Principal, Class-1 Gazetted Officer must attest the front and back of three passport-sized color photographs.
  • The original and one copy of the ISSB letter NOT RECOMMENDED are required (Only for repeat candidates).

NOTE: Old National Identification Cards and Form “B” are not accepted. For PAF registration and verification, only a Smart National Identity Card is required.
